Frank E. Jackson

 

The Kenton County Judge Executive appointed Frank E. Jackson to the NKWD Board of Commissioners for the first time in September 1999.  He was most recently appointed to an additional four-year term running from August 28, 2007 through August 28, 2011.

Mr. Jackson served as Treasurer of the board for two years from 2001 through 2003.

Frank Jackson was born and raised in Independence, Kentucky, on his family’s farm where he still resides.  His education focused on farm management, personal management, financial studies and related topics.  He served in the United States Air Force from 1949 through 1952.

Jackson retired from his excavating business in 1996, but is still very active in the Northern Kentucky Community.  His current community activities include:
• Director, Owen County Rural Electric Cooperative
• Member, S.U.R.E. Committee
• Treasurer, Northern Kentucky Baptist Association Board
• Deacon and Sunday School teacher, Oak Island Baptist Church
• Director in the Farm Credit System for ten years
