The Campbell County Judge Executive appointed Douglas C. Wagner to the NKWD Board of Commissioners for the first time in July 2002. He was most recently appointed for an additional four-year term running August 27, 2009 through August 26, 2013.
The Board voted in January 2012 for Mr. Wagner to serve a one-year term as Chairman. Mr. Wagner has served two previous one-year terms as Chairman, two one-year terms as Vice-Chair, two one-year terms as Treasurer, and one term as Secretary.
Doug Wagner was born and raised in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. He is the owner and operator of Weber Dental Laboratory, Inc. in Fort Thomas, a company he has owned for over 34 years. Wagner received National Certification in Dental Technology in 1979.
Wagner is very active in his community. His involvement includes:
• Member of numerous committees and boards and St. Therese Parish in Southgate
• Secretary of the Kentucky State Dental Laboratory Association for six years and Treasurer for two years.
• Chairman of the Mid America Dental Technology Symposium committee (major regional continuing education seminar)
• Member of the National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL)
• Chairman of the Cliffview Neighborhood Association in Newport for ten years
• Member of the Newport Transit Center T.A.N.K. Advisory Committee
• Member of the Newport Water Advisory Board |
