Fort Thomas Treatment Plant & Memorial Parkway Treatment Plant - Advanced Treatment – Granular Activated Carbon and Ultraviolet Disinfection – The District will be upgrading the water treatment process to a Granular Activated Carbon and Ultra-violet light system at both treatment plants.  The system will enable the District to comply with the Disinfection By-Products.  The project is currently under construction.

 Aging Infrastructure and Water Main Replacement

Parkview Avenue, Harrison Avenue, Hubert Alley and 18th Street – Newport – The District will be replacing the water main on Parkview Avenue from Monmouth Street to 17th Street, Harrison Avenue from Parkview Avenue to 18th Street, Hubert Alley from Monmouth Street to the dead end and 18th Street from Monmouth Avenue to Main Avenue. The project is scheduled for construction during the summer of 2012.

19th Street, Summer Hill and 20th Street – Newport –The District will be replacing the water main on 19th Street from Monmouth Street to Home Street, Summer Hill from 19th Street to the dead end and 20th Street from Summer Hill to Robinwood Place. The project is scheduled for construction during the summer of 2012.

Alexandria 2011 Water Main Replacement – Alexandria – The District will be replacing the water main on Brookwood Drive from East Main Street to Ridgewood Drive, Elmwood Circle from Brookwood Drive to the end, Elmwood Court from Brookwood Drive to the end, Valleyview Circle from Brookwood Drive to the end, Redbud Lane from Brookwood Drive to the end, Oakwood Lane from Brookwood Drive to the end, Acorn Court from Brookwood Drive to the end, and Rose Drive from Grandview Drive to the end.  This project is scheduled for construction during the spring of 2012.

Craft Road Water Main Replacement Project – Campbell County – The District will be replacing the water main on Craft Road from Licking Pike to Woeste Road. The project is currently under construction.

Cross Country Water Main Replacement Project - Campbell County - The District will be replacing the cross country water main near Sara Lee between Woeste Road and U.S. 27. This project is currently under design.

 System Upgrades/Redundancy/Water Main Extensions

Sub-District H Water Main Extension Project – The District has extended water mains along these listed streets. The final restoration is currently being completed.

• Creektrace Road (from Licking Pike to the Bridge)
• Indian Trace Road (from Creektrace to the end of the road)
• JoAnn Lane (from Indian Trace to the dead end)
• Lauren Lane (from Creek Trace to the dead end
• John Miller Road (from Creektrace to the driveway for #9807 John Miller Road)

42” Transmission Main from FTTP to Moock Road 36” – Southgate – The District is installing a 42” transmission main from the Fort Thomas Treatment Plant along U.S. 27 and Moock Road. The project is currently awaiting final restoration.

4 Mile Pike – The District will be replacing the water main from Poplar Ridge Road to 9 Mile Road with an 12” water main. This project is scheduled for construction during the summer of 2012.

KY 547 from Washington Street to Nelson Road Phase 5 – 24-inch extension for hydraulic improvement – This project will begin at the AA Highway and terminate at East Main Street. The project is currently under design.

AA Highway from East Alexandria Pike to Riley Road Phase 4A and 4B – 24-inch extension for hydraulic improvement – Phase 4A of the the project will begin at East Alexandria Pike and  terminate at Enzweiler Road.  Phase 4B will begin at Enzweiler Road and terminate at 4 Mile Pike. Phase 4A is completed.  Phase 4B construction is currently under construction.

Stonehouse Road – The District will be installing an 8” water main from Oneonta Road to Flagg Springs Road.  The project is on hold.

Highland Avenue Water Main Replacement and Abandonment – Fort Thomas / Southgate – The District will be replacing the water main on Highland Avenue from US 27 to Washington Avenue. A problematic water main on Highland between Grand Avenue and the I-471 bridge will also be abandoned. Services and side street water mains on this section of Highland Ave. will be reconnected to a newer / more reliable main which also runs along this corridor. This project is currently under design.

Lakeside Drive Water Main Replacement – Alexandria – The District will be replacing the water main along the entire length of Lakeside Drive. This project has been bid and is expected to begin in late spring / early summer of 2012.

Industrial Road (KY1998) Water Main Replacement – The District will be replacing the water main on Industrial Road (KY1998) from Winters Lane to Mary Ingles Highway. This project is currently under design.

Melbourne KY 8 (Mary Ingles Highway) Water Main Replacement – The District will be replacing the water main on KY 8 through Melbourne from approximately house number 221 to Greis Road. This project is currently under design.
