Aging Infrastructure and Water Main Replacement

Dixie Highway – Erlanger – The District will be replacing the water main on Dixie Highway in Erlanger from Lytle Avenue to the county line.  The project is on hold.

Oliver and Cox – Independence – The District will be replacing the water main on Oliver and Cox. This project is currently under design.

Highway Avenue Water Main Replacement – Covington – The District will be replacing the water main on Highway Avenue from Altamont Road to West Street and on West Street from Highway Avenue to Hazen Street.  The project is currently under design.

Latonia and West Southern Avenue Water Main Replacement – The District will be replacing the water main on Latonia Avenue from Madison to Southern Avenue and on Southern Avenue from Latonia to Grace Avenue.  This project is under construction.

Sanders Drive Water Main Replacement – Elsmere – The District will be replacing the water main along Sanders Drive from approximately house number 29 to the end of the street. This project is currently under design.

St. Joseph Lane Water Main Replacement – Park Hills – The District will be replacing the water main along St. Joseph Lane from approximately house number 709 to the end of the street. This project is currently under design.

Avon Drive Water Main Replacement – Fort Mitchell – The District has replaced the water main on Avon Drive from Summit Drive to Avon Court and on Avon Court from Avon Drive to the end of the street. Final restoration should be completed in the Spring.

Senour Road Water Main Replacement – Independence – The District will be replacing the water main on Senour Road from Taylor Mill Road (KY 16) to #2861 Senour Road. This project is currently under design.

Highland Avenue 12 inch Water Main Project – Fort Wright / Covington – This project will install a new 12” water main on Highland Avenue from Kyles Lane to Hanser Drive.  This project is scheduled for construction in the summer of 2013.

Kenridge Drive – Villa Hills – The District will be replacing the water main on Kenridge Drive from Buttermilk Pike to Amsterdam Road (KY 371). This project is currently under design.

Scott Street and 4th Street  - Covington – The District will be replacing the water main on Scott Street from 4th Street to 8th Street. The District will also be replacing the main on 4th Street from Madison Avenue to Greenup Street. This project is currently under design.

Colony South Drive Water Main Replacement – Lakeside Park – The District will be replacing the water main along the entire length of Colony South Drive.  Construction is anticipated for April 2013.

Dale Court Water Main Replacement – Fort Mitchell - The District will be replacing the water main on Dale Court from Summit Avenue to the end.  Construction is anticipated for April 2013.

Marquette Avenue Water Main Replacement – Fort Mitchell - The District will be replacing the water main on Marquette Avenue from Sunnymede Drive to Superior Drive.  Construction is anticipated for April 2013.

Ashton Road Water Main Replacement – Fort Mitchell – The District will be replacing the water main along the entire length of Ashton Road.  Construction is anticipated for March 2013.

Church Street & Faye Drive Water Main Replacement – Taylor Mill – The District will be replacing the water main along Church Street from Winston Avenue to Faye Drive and on Faye Drive from Winston Avenue to Church Street.  This project is currently under design.

41st Street & Church Street Water Main Replacement – Covington - The District will be replacing the water main along 41st Street from Winston Avenue to Church Street and on Church Street from 40th Street to 41st Street.  This project is currently under construction.

Earle Avenue Water Main Replacement – Covington – The District will be replacing the water main along Earle Avenue from Glenn Avenue to Leslie Avenue.  This project is currently under construction.

Maple Drive Water Main Replacement – Elsmere – The District will be replacing the water main along Maple Drive from Caldwell Drive to Kenton Street.  This project is currently under design.

Carl Court Water Main Replacement – Edgewood – The District will be replacing the water main along Carl Court from Marie Lane to the south end of the street.  This project is currently under design.

Swan Circle and Caldwell Drive Water Main Replacement – Elsmere – The District will be replacing the water main along Swan Circle from Park Avenue to the south end of the street and on Caldwell Drive from Swan Circle to Elken Place.  This project is currently under construction.

Paul Hesser Drive – Lakeside Park – The district will be replacing the water main along Paul Hesser Drive from Dixie Highway to Turkeyfoot Road. This project is currently under design.

Hulbert Ave – Erlanger – The District will be replacing the water main from Riggs Avenue to 3122 Hulbert Avenue. Services will be switch over from 3122 Hulbert Avenue to Clay Street. 

System Upgrades/Redundancy/Water Main Extensions

Sub-District I Water Main Extension Project – The District has plans to extend water mains along these listed streets.

• Jones Road (from American Legion to dead end)
• Taylor Mill Road (from #4868 to Grand Avenue)
• Dixon Drive (from Rich Road to #14038)
