Aging Infrastructure and Water Main Replacement

Dixie Highway – Erlanger – The District will be replacing the water main on Dixie Highway in Erlanger from Lytle Avenue to the county line.  The project is on hold.

Oliver and Cox – Independence –The District will be replacing the water main on Oliver and Cox. This project is currently under design.

Elsmere 2010 water main replacement – Elsmere – The District will be replacing the water main on the following streets:  Swan Circle from Park to dead end, Caldwell Drive from Elken to Swan, Orchard Street from Kenton to Caldwell, Kenton Street from Dixie Highway to Bedinger and Maple from Caldwell east 150’.  Construction on Kenton and Orchard is scheduled for Spring of 2012. The remainder of the project is under design.

Fort Wright 2010 Water Main Replacement – Fort Wright - The District will be replacing the water main on the following streets:  East Henry Clay Avenue from Kyles Lane to Highland Avenue, Highland Avenue from East Henry Clay Avenue to Hanser Drive, East Crittenden Drive from Kyles Lane to Basswood Circle, Cumberland Drive from Kyles Lane to Basswood Circle, Henry Clay Court from East Henry Clay Avenue to the end, Christine Court from East Henry Clay Avenue to the end, Basswood Circle from East Henry Clay Avenue to the end, Fayette Circle from East Henry Clay Avenue to the end, and Ridgemont Avenue from East Henry Clay Avenue to the end. East Henry Clay from Kyles Lane to Henry Clay Court and Christine Court is complete. The remainder of the project is under construction.

Robbins, Greenup, and 10th Street Water Main Replacement – Covington - The District will be replacing the water main on Robbins Street from approximately 16 West Robbins Street to Prospect Street. The main on 10th Street will be replaced from Washington Street to Greenup Street. Services on Greenup Street will be switched over from an existing 8” main to a 20” main from E 10th Street to E 11th Street. The project is currently awaiting final restoration.

Pleasant Ridge – Fort Mitchell – The District will be replacing the water main on Pleasant Ridge from Carlisle Avenue to 114 Pleasant Ridge. The project is currently under design.

Sunset, Wayne, Sunset, Panorama Water Main Replacement - Covington – The District will be replacing the water main on Sunset Court, Wayne Road, Sunset Road and Panorama Drive.  The project is currently under construction.

Decoursey Avenue Water Main Replacement - Covington – The District will be replacing the water main on Decoursey Avenue from Southern Avenue to E.32nd Street and upgrading services on Decoursey Avenue from E. 32nd Street to Madison Avenue.  The project is scheduled to begin construction in Spring of 2012.

Highway Avenue Water Main Replacement – Covington – The District will be replacing the water main on Highway Avenue from Altamont Road to West Street and on West Street from Highway Avenue to Hazen Street.  The project is currently under design.

Deverill Street Water Main Replacement – Ludlow – The District will be replacing the water main on Deverill Street from Oak Street to Adela Avenue.  The project is currently under design.

Latonia and West Southern Avenue Water Main Replacement – The District will be replacing the water main on Latonia Avenue from Madison to Southern Avenue and on Southern Avenue from Latonia to Grace Avenue.  The project is currently under design.

Ashgrove, Alpine, and Wayman Drive Water Main Replacement – Independence – The District will be replacing the water main along the entire length of Ashgrove Lane, Ashgrove Ct., Alpine Ct., and Wayman Drive. This project has been bid and is expected to begin in late spring / early summer of 2012.

Sanders Drive Water Main Replacement – Elsmere – The District will be replacing the water main along Sanders Drive from approximately house number 29 to the end of the street. This project is currently under design.

St. Joseph Lane Water Main Replacement – Park Hills – The District will be replacing the water main along St. Joseph Lane from approximately house number 709 to the end of the street. This project is currently under design.

Avon Drive Water Main Replacement – Fort Mitchell – The District will be replacing the water main on Avon Drive from Summit Drive to Avon Court and on Avon Court from Avon Drive to the end of the street. This project is currently under design.
