New Water Quality and Production Lab
On May 31, 2000 The Northern Kentucky Water District held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the opening of their new Water Quality Laboratory. This 1.2 million-dollar facility, designed by Humpert Woltzinek Architects and built by Hanson Millay Construction, was developed to provide a safer and more advanced technical environment for the lab analysts.
The Water Quality Laboratory is certified annually by the Environmental Protection Agency and is currently certified for 121 parameters. Each month analysts perform over 160 tests on samples gathered from more than 140 locations
A very special thanks to Mr. Bob Gabbard Project Manager, Mary Carol Wagner Laboratory Supervisor, and Becky McCormick Project Coordinator for all of their hard work and dedication to this project.
