What's New with Water Mains?

There are new water main projects happening in Northern Kentucky. The Subdistrict C Water Main Project will make water available to more than 790 households and will extend more than 30 miles in Southern Kenton County. The profect will include more than 330 fire hydrants that will be installed about every 500 feet throughout the project. This is a great benefit for the community because it will improve fire protection capabilities and also should help in reducing homeowners insurance. The end result of the Subdistrict C Water Main Project should reduce the percentage of homes in Kenton County that do not have access to a public water supply by more than 20 percent.
